The Mr. Coleman Mentoring and Empowerment NonProfit 501(c)(3) Charity

The mission of The Mr. Coleman Foundation is rechanneling the energy and redirecting the talents of individuals in order to maximize their potentials and obtain optimal outcomes and results.

Vision

The Foundation is committed to saving at-risk families by providing programs for alternative mindsets and continuation of services that will utilize their time, talent and energy. 

The  Mr. Coleman Foundation will provide the following services (4E model):

Educational – scholarships; internships; mentoring; tutoring; specific industry-based teaching, classes and training; field trips; and sports coaching.

Employment and vocation – internships; on-the-job training; trainings i.e. resume builder, employability skills; business classes i.e. entrepreneurship; mentoring; career day; job fairs; and economical awareness.

Empowerment – Motivational speakers and life skills coaching on topics to include bullying, self-awareness, social media, etiquettes, drug abuse, violence in schools, domestic violence and other various topics.

Essentials – Emergency temporary shelter; emergency food and clothing; assistance with social service applications; transportation; emergency intervention; and referrals.

There will be an assessment completed on all clients and case management as needed. Follow up and follow through reporting to monitor progress is mandated.

Location

The temporary location of The Foundation will be 5160 SW 40th AVE in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida until a permanent location is secured. It is expected that The Foundation will acquire a commercial property in the first quarter of 2019.

The  Mr. Coleman Foundation objectives are:

Provide programs, services, empowerment and mentoring to strengthen the capabilities of all individuals involved

Establish a structured foundation for individuals lacking guidance and support

To assist the individual in honing their passion and skills in specific areas to have better outcomes in their life

To create an environment that will foster success and develop a system for overcoming obstacles

Establish a non profit organizations networking system that will assist in providing the necessary resources

To hold fundraisers and other charity events monthly.
